Fisker Automotive is a joint venture between Fisker Coachbuild and Quantum Technologies.

Quantum Technologies supplies the plug in hybrid technology to be used in Fisker's upcoming Karma and possibly other models. Fisker Automotive is committed to designing luxury cars with environmental awareness. Their first car, the Karma sedan, will have a plug-in hybrid drive as well as a solar rooftop to charge batteries when not plugged in.

Fisker Automotive is headed by Henry Fisker.
